Davidson Murder Suspect Out on Bond

Davidson Murder Suspect Out on Bond LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) - The Davidson County man accused of throwing a cement paver through a car windshield and killing a teen is back at home.

Michael John Craver, 21, was released from jail last Wednesday after his family met the $250,000 bond set by a judge the day before.

Craver is now on house arrest at his parent's home in Lexington, David Freedman, Craver's attorney, said.

Craver is charged in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Shelby Chisom back in early August.

"He's very strong," Freedman said. "[Chisom] was a good friend of his. It's a very troubled time for him, and he looks forward to the day when he can get this matter resolved."

Craver's next court date is scheduled for early December.
