Lexington BBQ Festival draws over 100,000

LEXINGTON, NC - Over 100,000 people walked the streets of Lexington on Saturday for the 26th annual Lexington BBQ Festival. Restaurant owners from across the Triad were on hand to feed the masses, but as Scott Stamey of Stamey’s BBQ in Greensboro said, it was more about shining a bright light on North Carolina BBQ as a whole. 
Officials estimate the festival brings in over a quarter of a million dollars each year.
