ASHEBORO, N.C. -- A man who was raking leaves Friday morning at his home on Winslow Avenue discovered a grenade, Asheboro police said.Police said they responded to the area and evacuated two houses.Members of the Greensboro Bomb Squad removed the grenade and disposed of it, police said.Police said it wasn't known if the grenade was live, or how it ended up in the man's yard.
