Inmate Escaped From Dan River Prison Work Farm

An inmate who escaped from the Dan River Prison Work Farm over the weekend is thought to have stolen a truck full of lawn care equipment, North Carolina Department of Corrections officials said Friday.Officials said Rodrigo Villalobos, 32, stole the 1993 Ford F100 pickup truck in the Milton community on Thursday.Villalobos is serving a two-year sentence for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.He is from Forsyth County and was due to be released in December.Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 336-694-1583.
