SURRY COUNTY, N.C. -- A 5-year-old and 10-year-old were injured Friday afternoon after their off-road motorbikes collided head-on off Mountain Park Road, Surry County EMS director John Shelton said.Shelton said the collision happened behind a house at about 3:20 p.m.The 5-year-old was airlifted to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and was listed in serious but stable condition, Shelton said.Shelton said the other child was taken by car to Hugh Chatham Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.It wasn't immediately known if the two were riding two-wheel or four-wheel vehicles.
