North End Rock Climbing Closed ... details ±

The north end of Moores Wall is closed to rock climbing through June 30 for peregrine falcon nesting. The remainder of Moores Wall and Cooks Wall remain open to climbing. This closure does not affect any of the general hiking trails, such as the Moore’s Wall Loop Trail, which remain open.

Now Hiring Lifeguard Positions ... details ±

Hanging Rock State Park is now accepting applications for summertime lifeguards at our lake swimming area. Forty and thirty-two hour positions are available. The duration of work is from May 26 - September 5, and the pay rate is $9.36/hr. For more information, please contact the park.
